SNOW!

Well the snow has finally showed up here in Northern Indiana. I'm not sure what the grand total is since Dave is currently outside shovelling, but I know we've gotten a few inches over the past couple days.

We decided that we should take Ben for his first sledding adventure. Of course, since he's only 18 months, we thought his first experience should be pretty tame. Luckily, there's a nice slope in the park by our house just perfect for us. Ben really enjoyed it and wanted "more".

A couple weeks ago we watched Katie for Dave's parents while they were in Chicago visiting Aunt Dorothy and Uncle Greg. Izzie isn't always the best hostess, but I think she secretly likes having a friend over. Here they are snuggling on a blanket together.

Here are a couple of random videos of Ben. He's really working on his animal sounds and communicating with us in general. I think "up" is one of his favorite none animal words right now. He also likes to tell Izzie that she's a "good girl" and ever since Katie stayed over, he asks about her daily. We are so blessed with our wonderful growing boy!
